UConn Extension PEP CI Facilitators

  • Are volunteers
  • Completes mandatory UConn PEP Cl Application. (hyperlinked to application)
  • Completes mandatory Volunteer Application and on site orientation for the Connecticut Department of Corrections participants list
  • Works with the Correctional Institute Volunteer Coordinator to develop a class
  • Attends on line training with the Conn Extension PEP Cl coordinator to learn how to facilitate the program
  • Conducts 17 weekly 2-hour sessions

  • Participate in building a positive community in the prison environment
  • Abides by the UConn Extension PEP CI Pledge:

    • And I treat all living beings with respect and dignity
